Pueblo Wayfarer Talk by Kate Booth

Wednesday, Dec 17th
The Wet Mountain Sangha is hosting a Wayfarer talk next Wednesday, December 17 by Kate Booth, who was a llama packer for Joan Halifax and Upaya Zen Center in the San Juan Mountains for years.  Kate now lives in Pueblo and is an active member of the sangha.  She still owns her off-the-grid llama ranch in the San Juans, and she has been a llama packer, river runner and active environmentalist in the San Juans and San Luis Valley for many years.  She holds an MS from Naropa University and is currently is a child welfare counselor at the Pueblo YWCA.  The service will begin with one period of meditation followed by the talk.  It all starts at 6:00 PM, Wednesday, December 17 at Pueblo’s Center for Inner Peace, 740 W. 15th St.  A map and directions are available on the sangha website at http://www.wetmountainsangha.org.  Come join us!
