This Vast, Wide World: An Integrative Retreat

At the close of our winter/spring practice period, Springs Mountain Sangha will offer a weekend Integrative Retreat: April 15-17.

An integrative retreat is one in which we weave together the creative silence of sitting and moving in meditation, with creative engagement with a theme or a koan in talks, art and conversation.

For those yearning for a longer stretch of meditation, a simple meditation retreat will precede this, running from Wednesday evening, April 13, through the afternoon of April 15.

Note: Both retreats are non-residential, and each retreat is for full-time participation.  Either of them will give you a chance to relax into silence, meditation and inquiry with good companions.  A good stretch of time in which to practice not accomplishing anything, not proving anything, not doing anything right or wrong, not fixing anything—-you get to simply hang out in the midst of your very own life, the one that is yours—-and the very one that is an essential part of our indivisible awakening.
