This Saturday, August 16
Work In The Room at Shove Chapel from 6:30-8:30 a.m. Times to sign up for are 6:40, 7:00, 7:20, 7:40 & 8:00.
Saturday, August 30
Being With What Is: An Exploration of Zen Practice
10:00-4:00 at The Woman’s Club, 20 Mesa Road
Topics we‘ll be exploring during the day will include sitting meditation, keeping company with koans, working with the precepts, study and other aspects of practice. Everyone is welcome, whether you’ve come along just recently or have been engaged for some time. Suggested donation: $20
Saturdays, Beginning September 13
Cultivating the Tao with Chuang Tzu: The Inner Chapters
This will be less of a book study and more of an immersion into Chuang Tzu’s world, seeing what our lives are like when infused by his words and thoughts, stories and images. We’ll meet for 5 consecutive Saturday mornings at the Palmer Home from 10:00-11:30. Reading material will be provided. Fee is $10 per session.
