Welcome to the new Springs Mountain Sangha website!!
https://www.smszen.org

Before we discuss anything, we’d like to thank Mary Jo Meade, who put together the website that we’ve been using since 2009. Thank you Mary Jo!

This new web site, developed for us by Bill LeRoy, should help us move forward with making more information, more available, faster and easier. People will be able to find out what is going on for SMS at a single glance (download the graphic at the top of this email to see a picture of it!)

The format is like a newspaper; showing headlines of our most recent announcements (or news)  on the front page. If you don’t see the announcement on events, retreats or classes on the first page, simply go to the top menu item, “Schedules and Events”. The announcements can be found under “Monthly Newsletter”,  “Retreats” or “Classes and Gatherings” (see the graphic below.)

On every page, you will be able to see our weekly meditation schedule. The pages, using the menu across the top, provide a way to easily get to information about the Sangha, our activities and our practices.

BTW, it looks great on mobile phones and tablets also!!

Please note: You may need to refresh the page on your web browser to pick up the new pages. Windows browser users can select the “F5” key or you can use the browser controls to “Refresh”.

Moving forward, we will be able to update and modify this web site quickly and easily, improving the ability of our Sangha members and friends to access information quickly. It is also designed so that new people looking into this practice can understand where we are and what we are about, easier and faster as well.

We invite you to take a look and let us know what you think. If you see any typos or incorrect information, please let us know and we’ll take care of it directly.

Thanks again to all on the Steering Committee who have provided input, and special thanks to the New Website Development Team of: Sarah Bender, Sensei, Liz Cramer, Bill LeRoy and Frank Actis.

Regards,
