Wet Mountain Sangha Teacher Celebration 03/05/16

Andrew Palmer, Sensei

On March 5 at 3:00 pm at the Center for Inner Peace, we will celebrate the designation of Andrew Palmer, Sensei as the Wet Mountain Sangha’s first resident teacher!  I hope you can come for the celebration.

This is a big step in the life of the sangha, as now we will have Andrew’s presence as a regular, ongoing part of sangha life.  I know Andrew has many ideas for how we can move forward from here, including more regular Work-in-the-Room, a possible koan salon, and more.  He will be present not only to give talks and lead full-day sittings, but to be an ongoing member of the sangha community as well.

The celebration on March 5 will include meditation, a ceremony with words from other teachers and from the sangha, and some celebration and community time with light refreshments.  I’m thinking it will last until about 5:00 pm.

So please come!  Don’t hesitate to contact me at davidcockrell@comcast.net if you have questions or thoughts about this new venture for the sangha, and I hope to see you on the 5th. Click here to see the flyer for this event.
