Lunar New Year Ceremony

Dear Friends,
As we have passed the turning of the decade, and started step by step building
the path which will become 2020, a time of freshness, starting anew, and
re-dedication greets us. This is a time of setting intentions and wishes of
peace and happiness for ourselves, our loved ones, our community and our
world.
On Saturday, January 25th during our regular Saturday morning meditation time,
we’ll be holding a ceremony for the Lunar New Year. The ceremony
will start at 6:30 AM and conclude at 8:30 AM. We ask that you arrive slightly
early to get settled in. You are invited to bring any statues or other practice
objects you’d like to have blessed and rededicated, and we’ll do that for our
community altar and objects. You’re also invited to bring a poem you’d like to
share with others in the time that concludes the ceremony. (Flowers would be
welcomed, too!)
