Newcomer Orientation: 2nd Monday of the month, CC Shove Chapel, Dharma Hall upstairs at 5:45 pm to meet anyone who would like some orientation to meditation, to our tradition, or to our sangha and customs.

Dharma Study and Discussion: Each Monday 5:15 pm, CC Shove Chapel, Dharma Hall downstairs.

Events May 29-30 Mark Your Calendars!
On Thursday, May 29th there will be a modern mandala  opening exhibit at the Cornerstone Art Center.  As part of this, Professor David Gardiner and Sarah Bender, Sensei will be giving an interactive talk: Revealing the Mandala’s True Colors: Healing by Opening into the Depths of Inclusiveness.

On Friday, Judith Simmer-Brown* will be speaking in coordination with the exhibit in the Film Screening Room CAC . On Saturday, she will be speaking to our Buddhist Sanghas at 1:00 PM (place to be determined).

* Judith Simmer-Brown is professor and past Chair of Religious Studies at Naropa University and a prominent Buddhist scholar in the Shambala Buddhist tradition.  Her book publications include: Meditation and the Classroom: contemplative Pedagogy for Religious Studies; Dakini’s Warm Breath: The Feminine Principle in Tibetan Buddhism; and, Benedict’s Dharma:  Buddhists Comment on the Rule of St. Benedict.  (More information to follow.)
