Wayfaring Mind Talk
Pat Komarow Rocky Mountain Insight Dharma Teacher and Administrative Director, will offer a Wayfaring Mind Talk for us on Monday March 30, 2015.
Pat grew up a Catholic in the heartland of Kansas influenced by eight years of 1950’s brand Catholic education coupled with a Celtic Irish Australian ancestry from her mother’s side of the family.
She first became interested in Buddhism in college but didn’t do anything about it until 1989 when she took her first formal meditation class with Lucinda Green. Like most beginners, she didn’t have a clue what to do with her wandering mind.
Fortunately, the spark of a promise to look at her struggles differing motivated her to continue on the Buddhist path.
Her talk is entitled Being with Dying: How This is Changing Me.
