| Hello Springs Mountain Sangha, How about we meditate at your house this Saturday? Or at least, how about we meditate at our houses, all of our home altars becoming the big altar of the world as we join each other at a distance. This is a good time to support efforts to slow the spread of COVID-19, and we can do this by meeting this way rather than in person. So this Saturday morning set yourself up, light a candle, maybe offer a stick of incense or a little water, recite your favorite mantra if you like, and then join meditation at 6:30, or 7:00, or 7:30, or 8:00 AM by clicking on this link: https://zoom.us/j/580024032 Prompts will walk you through what you need to do but it isn’t hard. Actually, please do that during the 5 minutes before the period when you want to join.The only possibly tricky part is to mute your audio so that everyone doesn’t hear your cat meowing or your partner making the coffee. Or you making the coffee. If you don’t want us to see your nice pajamas, you can also have the video off, but the more of us appear, the more we’ll feel each other’s presence, right? The meditation leader will still lead, bells will ring, clappers will even clap and we can walk or stretch between periods. And we’ll sing our vows at the end.
