Our Shine and Shadow midsummer retreat in Pueblo

July 8, 2014

Members and Friends of the Wet Mountain Sangha–

Our Shine and Shadow midsummer retreat begins tomorrow, July 9, at the Center for Inner Peace in Pueblo.  The opening session begins at 6:00 PM, at our regular Wednesday evening sitting time.  All are welcome to join in for this session and Andrew Palmer, Sensei’s opening talk, so don’t stay away just because the retreat is beginning!  Try to come a few minutes early to get settled.

The evening talks are open to everyone on Thursday and Friday nights as well, and we would love to welcome you into the hall.  On Thursday and Friday, please arrive about 6:15.  We will begin with a period of meditation at 6:30, with the talk beginning at 7:00.  The evening service will close by 9:00 or earlier.

It is still possible to participate in the retreat part-time, at times other than the evening talks as well.   If you would like to join the retreat for a time, please RSVP to this message, or call David Cockrell at 719 994-3278.  We ask that you come at the beginning of one of the major meditation blocks, 5:55 AM, 9:30 AM, or 2:00 PM.

Hope to see you this week at one of the retreat events.

Gassho,
